I lost our home my husband and kids thanks to my 10 year pokie addiction i am now living in supported accommodation in Tasmania and attend The Bridge Program for my Recovery.
What did you play the one dollars machine or the 5c up machines. I am asking as I too play them. I have not lost everything yet, but most likly will. :( I have moved up to the one dollar machines now I find I put in around $500 to $1000. and will win my money back or more. I am sorry that you have lost so much on the pokies. But I see it like this if you still had it all you will still play them, if you were to say thats a lie, well your still lieing to yourself. We will only stop when we hit rock bottom.. and then will feel dumb about what we did, I am at the stage where I am just trying to win back my lost over the years, 20 years of playing,,
